Invitation for entries, Dr. Tyczka Energy Award
The Dr. Tyczka Energy Award is offered by the Tyczka Energie Foundation in cooperation with the Technical University of Munich and the University of Zittau/Görlitz.

For what field:

  • Work that covers environmentally compatible, decentralised energy recovery, supply and application, in particular the energetic deployment of gases – also coupled with geothermals, biomass, heat supply (contracting). 
  • Dissertations
  • Theses at universities (e.g. for bachelor, masters degrees) 
  • The jury reserves the right to examine the assessed work.

For whom:

  • Doctor candidates and graduates of any branch of study with work in line with the invitation for entries at university submitted in German.

The Award:

  • Prize money totalling 5000 euros for work concluded between 1 August of the previous year and 14 May of the current year (date of the final examination / grading applies).
  • The prize money shall be divided at the discretion of the jury. 

Deadline for submission:

  • by 15 May of the current year

  • Notification of award winners at start of Juny
  • Presentation of award at a ceremony to be determined
