Development can be considered sustainable if it "meets the needs of today's generation, without endangering the possibilities of future generations to satisfy their own needs and freely choose their own lifestyle". In this spirit, we want to make a noticeable contribution – which is why we are intensely concerned with the aspects of sustainability.

Our group of companies has now been in existence since 86 years. Which clearly attests to economic sustainability. Equally as significant to us, however, are the social and ecological aspects. Therefore, we have worked out and adopted a self-compulsory sustainability declaration that is applicable to all companies of the group.

We take very seriously the obligation that this entails to agree on specific goals, to verify that they are achieved and to document them. You can follow our progress in our sustainability report, created and published for the first time in March 2011.
